Tatum Gaines, Contributing Writer

Tatum Gaines is a senior at Normal West High School and a contributing writer for The Paw Print. Here at West, she is involved in the Black Student Union (BSU) for the third year and is a member of the Student Equity Advisory Team. Some of Tatum's hobbies and interests include going to the gym, going to the beach to watch sunsets, and spending time with her dog and cat. She is looking forward to writing for The Paw Print because of her enjoyment of crime shows and detective work.

The 2023 Normal West girls soccer team saw some major success last season as they won regionals. However, last years squad lost some key seniors. Head Coach Valentine Walker is excited to see the new seniors step up in their leadership role(s). Their first game of the season will take place at 4:30pm at Peoria High School.
