Homecoming 2023 kicks off next week with the theme of “A Night in the City.”
The infamous spirit days will take place during the school day each day. This year’s daily themes are:
- Monday – Adam Sandler Day
- Tuesday – Country vs Country Club
- Wednesday – Jersey Day
- Thursday – Barbie day/Pink out
- Friday – West Spirit Day
On Monday, October 2, the Homecoming events will kick off with the Boys Volleyball game. Warm ups will start at 6pm in the big gym. The game will start at 6:30p.m.,with each class wearing a different color: Freshman-yellow, Sophomore-green, Junior-red, and Senior-blue.
On Monday October 2nd powder puff practice will begin and continue Tuesday, October 3rd 3:45-5:15. Juniors will be at Champion Fields Parking lot. Seniors will be at Normal West baseball field.
ALL JUNIORS & SENIORS NEED TO ATTEND ALL PRACTICES AND MEETINGS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN THE GAME WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4TH AT 6:30.
The parade will take place Wednesday, October 4th at 4:30p.m.
The assembly will take place Friday, October 6th during the 1st hour.
The official homecoming football game will take place at Wildcat Stadium against the Springfield High Senators. The theme for the game is Wild West, and the game will start at 7p.m.
Homecoming festivities will wrap up with a dance in the main gym of NCWHS, from 8-10:30 p.m.
