Wildcat soccer currently sits at 7-7-1 and 5-3 in coference

The Normal West Girls Soccer season began in March.

They are currently 7-7-1 and 5-3 in conference. Recently, they had two wins against Bradley- Bourbonnais and Urbana, with their first tie of the season against East Moline United.

During a conversation with Senior and Captain of the team Meredith Bertsche, she states, “Last Tuesday we played Peoria Notre Dame, and that was a really good turning point in our season because we all played together and stronger.”

On prom day, the girl’s soccer team easily, defeating Bradley-Bourbonnais 5-0 to take their 7th win of the season.

Coming up tonight, April 23rd, is senior night against Mattoon High School. Varsity will be playing at 4:30, followed after will be JV at 6:00pm.

The girls have another game April 26th against Saint Viator at 3:15pm.
