Jack Burton, Staff Reporter

Hello, my name is Jack Burton and I am a Senior here at Normal West.  I am 17 years old and enjoy Playing or watching Baseball, playing video games, Trap shooting, and being involved in the Normal West FFA chapter.  My favorite TV shows include Person of Interest, Burn Notice, and Hawaii  Five-0.   An interesting fact about me is that I have lived on a farm my whole life, and one thing that I have taken away from my experiences is that it does not matter how small the goal but, how much hard work and time you put into it to complete it to the best of your ability.  I have many animals including chickens, goats, geese, ducks, cats, and four dogs.  As you can imagine this keeps me pretty busy, so I don't waste time if I can help it.  My graduation year is 2021.

Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted
