Jacob Hughes, Contributing Writer
Jacob Hughes is a Senior at Normal West High School. This is Jacob’s first year on The Paw Print, and he will spend his year as a contributing writer. He has plans to attend Belmont University for a degree in songwriting and audio engineering. Jacob is involved in choir and through that, he has had the opportunity to participate in the school musical. Along with his school life, Jacob is a barista and helps make donuts at his family farm (Rader Family Farms). Jacob enjoys playing the guitar and writing songs and plans on using his song-writing skills to assist him in his efforts on The Paw Print. Something that keeps Jacob going is his favorite drink from Starbucks, which is an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with pumpkin cream cold foam. Eventually, you will see Jacob’s 5 month old micro mini highland cow named Pumpkin at Rader Farms. Don’t be afraid to go say hi!
