The boy’s soccer team’s season wrapped up on Wednesday, October 18 with a loss to Minooka High School with a score of 0-4.
With a 9-9-4 record, this Wildcat soccer season has been one for the books after losing 14 seniors from last season. There were a lot of spots on the roster at the start of the season, and the underclassmen didn’t disappoint.
“So I think they’ve learned how to handle adversity very well,” said team captain Zach Rumps.
With this adversity, players have had to step up within their roles on the team and lead everyone to have a great season.
But a good team environment was brought back and respect amongst players is continuously being built.
The loss is certainly not the ideal way of going out; however, the underclassmen who will return next season have a lot to build on for next season.
