Senior Sienna Hagler wrapped up her NCWHS tennis career on October 14. Although none of the teammates qualified for the state competition, the girls were happy with their overall season performances.

The NCWHS Girls Tennis team finished up a spectacular season on Saturday, October 14.

The team made it all the way to sectionals, which was due to their hard work, dedication, and strong bond. The girls spent the summer and beginning of their semester practicing and competing and had a rewarding and fun time.

Other than sectionals, the team competed in multiple events this year, including the Big12 Conference Meet and other various matches. Their season started in Morton, where seniors Marley Schrof and Meredith Bertsche finished 2nd place. Their season ended in Richwoods.

“Being on the team this year was lovely. I think we could’ve done a little better, but it was fun!” senior Sienna Hagler said when asked about her experiences on the team this year.

Although no one made it to state this year, the team will be practicing to come back better than ever next year!
