Coming off back-to-back substantial wins, the Wildcats are feeling solid going into their week six game against Peoria Manual.

Although Peoria Manual is known to have a strong line on both sides of the ball, Normal West Head Coach Nathan Fincham is confident in his linemen’s abilities to get the job done on the field.

“Our offensive and defensive line are going to have to play really well for us to be effective in what we want to do,” stated Fincham.

After a tough loss in week three, along with sustaining multiple significant injuries over the first five weeks, the Wildcats are coming back stronger every week. The immense time and effort they are putting in throughout the week to prepare for Friday nights are what will propel them towards coming out on top in this upcoming game.

“It’s important to continue to build on what we’ve done the last two weeks,” shared Fincham, “continue to take care of the ball and continue to force turnovers, those are our two big things.”

The Normal West football team has never lost to the Peoria Manual Rams in program history, and they plan to continue that tradition this Friday night in Wildcat Stadium.
