Normal West varsity basketball took a devastating loss against Richwoods High School. The end score of the game was 47-58.
The Wildcats struggled early offensively and were down 10-0 but came back and were tied in the fourth quarter despite struggling against their physical play.
Senior Taylor Hafermann played well on both ends of the court and recorded a double-double as well as having seventeen points and twelve rebounds.
Senior CJ Wilson played tough defense against one of the best players in the state, a Rutgers University recruit, Lathan Sommerville. Senior Nate Moore also finished with nine points even with some tough competition guarding him.
The Wildcats will continue to push themselves in practice to match the intensity of what they saw in the game.
