Ayushi Patel, a current senior at Normal West, is entering her first year on The Paw Print staff as a contributing writer. She is spending her year as co-student council president. She is also a part of many other West activities, like girls’ tennis and Spanish club. In her free time, Ayushi likes to take pictures, spend time with her friends, and cook. Ayushi also has a love for movies, saying she will watch anything that isn’t scary – she is a huge Marvel finatic. And when it comes to music, some of her genres are hip hop and R&B. Her favorite artist is Daniel Ceaser. Ayushi says that other people would describe her as energetic because of her talkative side. She initaly took an interest in journalism because of her friends in the class, but she is excited to put her photography skills to use and cover some school events for The Paw Print.
