Sophomores Julie Bach, Amanda Warren, and Renee Warren from Normal Community West High School went to state in cross country this past weekend on Saturday, Nov. 4th in Peoria, IL at Detweiller Park.
Bach ran a 18.00.32, Renee Warren ran a18.20.30, and Amanda Warren at 18.39.29. The girls were all running at the same time, but in a large race it’s hard to stay connected and near each other, so they were all running their own solo race.
There were 234 people in the race. They had a young group this year that are all returning next year.
Coach Chad Aubin is super excited about the future and the potential going forward.
