Halle Blakney is a senior at Normal West High School, and this is her first year as a contributing writer on The Paw Print staff. During her last couple years at Normal West, she has been involved in the girls swim team. When Halle is out of school, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. She also enjoys listening to the albums Evermore and Folklore by Taylor Swift. Her favorite snacks are goldfish and drinks from Starbucks. Halle’s “Roman Empire” is the romance between Conrad and Belly in the show The Summer I Turned Pretty. Halle also enjoys watching romance and rom-com movies. In the distant future, she would like her future job to be a realtor.
