On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, Normal Community West High School will hold the annual PSAT/SAT testing day.
All freshman, sophomores, and juniors will participate in testing, with freshman and sophomores taking the PSAT, and juniors taking the SAT. Seniors who have already taken the test will not need to report to classes.
This year, testing will be different from previous years. The SAT will be held entirely online, a new change implemented by College Board. Online features include highlighting, bookmarking, and a graphing calculator.
At NCWHS, the SAT is a requirement to graduate. Classes may choose to prep with review materials made by teachers or taken directly from College Board.
During the actual testing day, students will report to designated testing areas and remain there until dismissed for lunch.
