On October 11th, 2023, Normal Community West’s junior class tested their academic abilities as they took the preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The PSAT test offers students a valuable opportunity to practice their skills before the actual SAT they will be taking later in the school year on April 10, 2024.
Not only does the PSAT/NMSQT provide students a glimpse of what to expect on the SAT, but it also provides students valuable information on what they can improve upon before taking the SAT.
As scores are released, students eagerly await for the results, knowing that their performance on the PSAT can greatly help their improvement on future standardized tests.
