Thursday, December 11. 2015 local students attended the Not In Our School workshop, which educated them on how to be a successful social advocate for change within their schools and community. Social Studies teacher, John Bierbaum and NCWHS’ Project Oz representative Jessica Jackson accompanied juniors Sarah Yoder, Niah Watson, Justin Newson, and seniors Emma Nippe, Micaela Harris and Ceil Kemp to the event at the YWCA.
