The Hauntcert is a once a year Halloween-themed performance conducted by the orchestras at Normal West and Normal Community.
Celebrating 29 years, the NWCHS Orchestra will perform the yearly Hauntcert, Villains on Strike, on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Two shows will be presented, the first at 6 PM and the second at 7:30 PM, with trunk-and-treating and pre-show activities before each performance.
Participants vary each year, but this year, Mr. Hatzer and Mrs. Saal, and the Wildcat Choir will be on stage along with the Orchestra.
They will be playing songs from popular movies like Aladdin, Little Mermaid, James Bond, The Avengers, and many more.
After keeping it a secret, they’re excited to announce that the 2024 Wet Spring Musical will be revealed at tomorrow night’s show, as well!
The show is completely free to all who attend and is kid-friendly. It’s a great way to kick off Halloween weekend.
